Residential building Paris is a building of the former Grand Hotel Paris, located on the corner of 57 Preslav Street and 1 Panagyurishte Street. The building is an architectural and construction immovable cultural value of the modern era with the category of ensemble importance according to Order РДО9-221/ 13.04.2017 of the Minister of Culture.

Historical reference
The building was built in 1906 by Riza Efendi Halilov, from Belogradec, at that time the mayor of the city of Varna. The architect of the building is arch. Gero Gerov. The building was originally designed for a luxurious hotel for its time in the city center on 2 floors plus an attic. The external architecture of the building is executed according to the modern trends in architecture. The mixture of Western Secession and remaining oriental motifs and traditions in construction create a landmark eclectic architectural value, which is also a center for a large part of the city's intellectual elite.

In 1910, a ridiculous incident caused a fire in the attic of the Hotel Paris. The entire floor was burnt, and the second floor was affected by the flames. The restoration of the building was entrusted to the city's iconic arch. Dabko Dabkov. The drawings for the upgrading of the building are preserved in the archive of the Municipality of Varna. The project was approved on 12/21/1910. The project included the renovation of the second floor and the construction of the third. Arch. Dabko Dabkov carried out and intervened in the facade decoration.

In the past, the Grand Hotel Paris was one of the most beautiful buildings in the city. The ground floor housed Karaatanasov's Paris inn and dairy, as well as Todor Gerchev's covered bazaar. In 1908. Alliance Française was established there, and for thirty years, the most renowned Patisserie Paris of Dimitar Marinov was located here.

Town planning decision
The project envisages the connected construction of a residential building with six above-ground floors. Car access to the garage of the building is from the west at the street level of Panagyurishte Street, by means of a ramp.

The project envisages the preservation of the overall exterior architectural appearance of the existing building, through the replacement, reconstruction and restoration of all architectural decorative elements, similar to the preserved ones.

The apartments in the "Paris" building will be rented out according to BDS. The building has ACT 14.
