A Palace in Rui mountain. 50 meters from the international road II-63, kept clean 365 days in the year. 7 kilometers from the Bulgaria-Serbia border crossing. 30 kms from Vlasinsko Lake in Serbia and 93 kilometers from Sofia. The Erma river flows 1 km to the front of the Palace. The whole area is a Reservation – both on the Bulgarian and the Serbian sides. The biggest variety of plants and herbs in Europe. A huge variety of wild animals including wolves, sometimes even bears and lynxes roam the endless mountains around. Ancient Thracian monuments and sites are lurking literally around every corner. The area is not very populated, which makes it perfect for private retreat. The Palace itself was built in the middle of the last century at the highest possible building standards. The foundations are extremely thick and made with natural stone thus guaranteeing appearance of moss or humidity impossible. There are 4 floors. A ground floor which was used as a Canteen and is also perfect for a boutique private restaurant. The 1st and 2nd floors are split each into 2 apartments (4 apartments altogether). Each apartment consists of 1 large room and 2 smaller rooms, a large bathroom and 2 WCs. The top roof floor has its own private staircase from the back and was never used. The Palace has water, canalization and electricity. It is so near to the road that getting fiber cable internet should not be a problem, even though 4G is working perfectly as in the vicinity is the border-crossing station and customs. Originally the Palace was built as a Nursery. Much later, when the Hospital in the nearby Tran was opened, it was used as a Primary school. This is the most sunny location in the whole region. Fogs rarely cover this part of the mountains even in the winter. There is constant Municipal Police and Border Police presence in the area.
